Open Data Day is a yearly event that takes place in numerous cities around the world that brings together organizations and citizens based on shared enthusiasm for Open Data. In 2014, 117 cities celebrated Open Data Day. During the event, participants gain an opportunity to share their experiences with open data and map, brainstorm for future projects and explore new data sets.
