You are entering private property. All entrants must obey rules at all times. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any person or persons from the property for any reason. All firearms and ammunition may be inspected for cleanliness and safety prior to entering range. No explosive or 3D targets allowed. No outside targets allowed.
1. All firearms must be in a case or holster prior to entering building or lobby.
2. Any firearm removed from a case or holster MUST be done so by an employee.
3. Cleaning or maintenance on firearms or suppressors in the lobby is prohibited.
Range Officer
1. Any staff member is in charge of the ranges at all times. Shooters must obey his/her directions.
2. Any staff member can remove from the property and or ban any person who mishandles or handles a firearm in an un-safe manner without a refund.
Firing Line Procedure
Eye and ear protection is required prior to entering the range.
Place lane card on the hook provided at the firing lane.
Take position in your firing lane to prepare for shooting. Firearms must be taken out of or put in the case at the firing line with the muzzle pointed down range. No firearms are allowed out of the case behind the firing line.
Only one loaded firearm at a time is allowed on the firing line. Firearm handling behind the firing line is prohibited.
The MUZZLE of all firearms must be pointed down range and actions open until ready to fire.
No rapid firing allowed, without a staff members consent.
If shooter has a miss-fire or jam Please leave the weapon in the range notify a staff member for help.
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you have made the decision to fire.
Before leaving your station, ensure your firearm is unloaded and push brass in front of the firing line. Please make sure you have all of your belongings and the lane card.
Any person can call a cease fire in the range if they see an unsafe condition. CEASE FIRE means…. STOP SHOOTING and lay your firearm down IMMEDIATLY. Do not unload, just STOP SHOOTING.
Vandalism
Any person seen firing at lights, baffles or other items which are not targets will be removed from the property without a refund of any kind. This action will also be reported to the proper authorities. Shooter is responsible for any damage he/she has caused. Please make sure your shots are not hitting the cardboard hanger. Only authorized targets may be used.
5. Disruptive Behavior
Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in removal from property without a refund. Alcohol, medications that impair judgment and illegal drug use is not allowed. If any staff member suspects a shooter to be under the influence, the shooter will be asked to leave without a refund.
6. Firearms Allowed
1. Rimfire and Centerfire rifles and pistols are allowed.
2. Black powder firearms are allowed if approved by a staff member.
3. Fully automatic firearms are allowed with proper documentation.
4. For any other firearm not mentioned, please check with a staff member.
Prohibited Firearms
1. NO SHOTGUNS OR SHOTSHELLS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED IN RANGE.
2. No Black Powder or Muzzle Loaders without staff approval.
3. NO Fully automatic firearms are allowed without proper documentation.
4. No BB/Pellet, Air or Airsoft in Firearms range.
Ammunition Requirements
1. Standard commercial and reloaded ammunition is allowed.
2. Any type of ammunition designed to penetrate metal such as an armor piercing round is not permitted. This includes steel core or steel jacket. FMJ (Full Metal Copper Jacket) is ok.
3. Tracer, explosive or incendiary ammunition is prohibited.
4. Steel cased and Aluminum cased ammunition is prohibited.
Firing Line Occupants
1. All persons using the shooting range will certify that they may legally possess a firearm. Appropriate dress is required at all times. Close toed shoes will be worn in the range. Smoking is not allowed on the firing line. Please remember we are a family orientated facility.
2. All persons utilizing the range are required to receive, understand and sign our rules, regulations and liability waiver.
3. A parent or legal guardian must accompany persons under the age of 18 to shoot rifles or pistols. Those persons below the age of 21 are not permitted to shoot a handgun unless accompanied by a responsible person 21 or older.
4. Children must be at least 12 years old to shoot or enter the range. Children must be tall enough to safely fire over the firing counter without standing on any object or being held up in order to be tall enough to safely shoot.
5. Notify a staff member for any assistance.
Release of Liability
I understand that I am entering a private shooting facility at my own risk where I will encounter high levels of noise, the discharge of ammunition from firearms. I am entering this property at my own risk and I understand that Ricochets, flying bullets, flying debris, chemicals, lead and noise are potential hazards.
I have read, agree and understand the rules, regulations and liability waiver, and I will not hold Atlanta Range and Ordnance, INC. its, Owner, employees or volunteers liable from any claim to injury, death or financial compensation to myself, friends or relatives. I also agree to supervise and be responsible for any minor in my care while on the property.
