We offer scholarships because we believe it is important to limit the barriers to participation in our events and community. That being said, we still have operating costs; so please think seriously about what you can contribute to the event, what is not covered by one person must be covered by another. Additionally, while we expect all members of our community to contribute to making our events unique and meaningful, we ask scholarship holders to offer additional volunteer time (http://tinyurl.com/firestonevolunteers).

If you meet any of the below criteria, you qualify for a scholarship. We will not ask you to prove anything. It is up to you to be honest. All we ask is that you read the entire description of the program at the top before making your decision.

Unemployed (not by choice) and without familial support and/or other financial resources

Underemployed (hours or pay is too low to make a reasonable living, and not by choice)

Temporarily or permantly unable to make a reasonable living due to physical or mental challenges

Supporting dependents without adequate resources

Homeless
