Privacy Release: MIAMI UNIVERSITY - TRIO STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES FERPA RELEASE FORM: The 1974 Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records, both financial and academic. For the student’s protection, FERPA limits release of student record information without the student’s explicit written consent. I do hereby give my consent for Miami University to release information to TRIO Student Support Services, from my education records, which includes but are not limited to: Academic Records - including GPA, class standing, academic status, course schedule, major, etc. Financial Records - including Income tax information, Taxable income, etc. I acknowledge by my signature that I understand although I am not required to release my records, I am giving my consent to release this information. I understand that this release remains in effect unless I revoke such consent in writing and the revocation is delivered to the institution.
