Fall 2021 Forum Art Space Intern Sign-up
This form is for those interested in interning for the Forum Art Space for the Spring 2021 semester.

The Forum Art Space is looking for 6 interns to join us in cultivating this gallery run by students and for students to gain experience in gallery curation and management! Be a part of what makes the Forum Art Space run smoothly for artists, performers and friends on campus.

An internship at the Forum Art Space is a 2 credit internship (4-5hrs/week) that allows those interested in gallery work to gain experience in some of the everyday happenings at a gallery.
Four of those hours will be spent at your weekly 5-9 shift and the fifth will be spent spread out throughout each month in accordance with what the space needs at that time, whether that be extra help with installations or intern meetings.

The main responsibilities of gallery interns include:

1. Consistent attendance at your weekly shift.
2. Maintaining the space's cleanliness and aesthetic integrity.
3. Art handling during installs or de-installs.
4. Attending intern meetings with the co-directors.
5. Being in communication with the co-directors and the artists if need be.
6. Helping with the website advertising
7. Curating 1 show (virtual or at the Forum itself)
8. Marking sure COVID protocols are being followed
9. Helping clean and disinfect after each show

***If you are a freshman, unfortunately as per the college requirements you must have 30 credits in order to have an internship anywhere on campus.***
