FALL 2025 Electrical Class Application Waiting list
Thank you for your interest in our Pre-Apprentice Electrical Program. River City Hope Street is a Christian nonprofit based in Cedar Park, TX that provides pre-apprentice trades courses. Our instructors are licensed plumbing professionals who encourage and empower our students to build a brighter future. 

Here are details of our upcoming Pre-Apprentice Electrical Course:
Start Date: Saturday, September 20, 2025
Session: 8-week session that runs each Saturday from September 20, 2025 to November 8, 2025
Cost: A $40 non-refundable registration fee (you can pay online or in person after you complete the application)
Deadline to Pay & Join: September 15, 2025 - keep in mind that registration is not complete until fee is paid. 
Sponsorships are available - Please email rivercityhope@gmail.com requesting a sponsorship.
Spots: Only 15 spots per trade is available and generally fill up quickly. Reserve your spot as soon as you can!

Time Requirement: 8 Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (regular attendance is required)

  • Open House: September 10, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. (last day to sign up and pay)
  • Week 1: September 20
  • Week 2:  September 27
  • Week 3: October 4
  • Week 4:  October 11
  • Week 5:  October 18
  • Week 6:  October 25
  • Week 7: November 1
  • Week 8: November 8, 2025 (Graduation) - Friends and family Welcome.
Additional Requirements: 
  • Must be at least 16 years of age. High School graduate or GED recommended.
  • Knowledge of Math and Advanced-level English. 
  • Must have a Social Security card and a reliable means of transportation. 
  • MUST HAVE PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH: speaking and writing.
 
Typical Saturday Schedule: 
7:45 AM - 8:00 AM: Breakfast
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Bible Study, Professional Development
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Trades Lectures (Classroom) 
11:30 AM - 12:15 PM: Lunch (Speakers covering a variety of topics related to the trades industry/business)
12:15 PM - 2:00 PM: Trades Lab (Practical Application of Lecture)

Benefits: Instruction from licensed professionals, encouraging spiritual community, practical training, learning lab access, and job-seeking assistance.

Steps To Apply:

3. Pay the $40 non-refundable fee - this covers the book needed for class
4. An acceptance email will be sent once registration is complete
5. Attend Open House to meet the instructors and tour facilities on Wednesday, September, 20 2025 at 6:30 PM. 
6. Be ready to learn on the first day of class!
