You must have completed your undergraduate degree and received your DPD verification statement before you start your supervised practice. You can start GTTN DI before you get a Master's degree, but you must have completed Master's degree before you graduate from GTTN.

Garden to Table Nutrition Dietetic Internship (GTTN) is not eligible for financial aid, though we can usually help you defer student loan payments. You may also be able to receive additional funding through your Master's program to help pay for the internship.

NOTE: You also are required to turn in an application in DICAS/WebAdmit before you can be accepted into Internship/ Supervised Practice program, but this form is quick and easy way to get started and get questions answered.

NDTR (Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered) Internship Directors have found that people who pass the NDTR exam are also successful in passing the RDN exam. If your DPD grades are weak, or done over five years ago, we may ask you to take and pass the NDTR exam before starting an internship with us. Our goal is that all of our interns are able to become RDNs. *
How many hours a week to you plan to spend on your rotations? (We recommend no more than 32-36 hours a week for full-time students in order to allow time for assignments and required bi-weekly Friday meetings.) *
How many hours a week do you plan to spend on other paid/volunteer work or education per week? *
What personal caregiving responsibilities do you have for others (children attending school/daycare, parents, extra needs for self-care)? We use this to help provide guidance to interns/prospective interns regarding rotations. *
