Departmental Final Review Sessions are meant to help students develop their understanding of the essays on which the exam will be based. Students can participate in facilitated group discussions, where together they generate a better understanding of the text. Student can also participate in reading sessions where they read through the text and generate study notes as a group. Student participation is very important for the success of these workshops.

The essays being used for the departmental final are "Joy" by Zadie Smith and "What Fear can Teach Us" by Karen Thompson Walker.
