P&F AGM Nomination Form
Are you interested in serving your school community? Then an executive P&F role is for you. Please considering being nominated for one of the executive roles. Before completing the form all people nominated must have been asked and made aware of the nomination. The AGM is being held on Tuesday December 13 2022, 7pm in the school hall. This is a face to face meeting only. It will not be available on zoom. If you wish to be considered for the role you must attend the AGM.

President or Vice President of the P&F 
It is the President’s role to:
  • provide leadership and direction for the P&F;
  • work collaboratively and cooperatively with the Principal and Parish Priest;
  • promote the aims and objectives of the P&F;
  • support other members of the Executive Committee;
  • schedule, plan and preside over meetings of the P&F as Chairperson*;
  • schedule, plan and preside over meetings of the Executive Committee; and
  • attend to incoming and outgoing correspondence as presented by the Secretary between meetings and
  • follow up on actions arising from previous meetings.
* this can be allocated to another member of the Executive where appropriate.

Role of the Vice President
The main role of the Vice President is to fulfil the role of President in his or her absence or when
required. It may be viewed as a learning experience for a parent wanting to take on the role of President
in the future.
Key responsibilities include:
  • chairing P&F meetings when the President is absent; and
  • assisting the President in attending official school and parent functions.
