CHEP ( Community Health Education Program) serves as a pivotal initiative designed to enhance the overall health and well-being of communities around the globe. Media Creation-You will then create a social media post ( Tiktok, Instagram etc.) regarding health issues that are seen in your community for the program to post. Be sure to include your name and city when submitting the post as we want to give credit to the right person!
Activities- Accessibility is key for The Community Health Program. There are so many people who may not have accessibility to correct health information, making the maintenance of good health in the community difficult Therefore, as part of this department, members of the program will organize accessible activities and seminars for members of community to engage with.
Blog- In this department members of the program will write blogs about health issues in one's community or in the world in general. This issues don't necessarily have to be found in the city that you live in, they can be found by any means, including but not limited to, word of mouth,social media, and the news. These blogs will fall into 1 of 4 categories: Mental Health, Physical Health, Diseases, and Environmental Health. Blogs will then be posted on the CHEP website and some may even be featured on our social media pages. Once again, upon submission of your blog, be sure to submit your full name and city as we want to give credit to the correct person!
