All services provided by Jenkins Pest Control are designed to eliminate your present problems and prevent problems from happening in the future.  We want to educate our customers on what is necessary to prevent problems and use IPM (Integrated Pest Management) practices to accomplish pest control.  Insects and rodents are abundant; we must learn to coexist with them.  We can never eliminate pests completely. Our goal is to keep them away from our homes and businesses, not allowing conditions favorable for pests to exist.

The use of pesticides is a concern to most people. We try to use the smallest amounts of pesticides to achieve our goals.  The types of pesticides we use in homes are designed to control existing problems.  We use mostly baits in homes, however, there are pests that must be treated with other formulations.  We provide you with labels of all materials used and explain to you why we will use them. 

Since pest problems originate from the outside, we pay special attention to the exterior of your home or business.  If we can control them outside we do not need to place pesticides in your home or business.  Exterior treatments can be done for both rodents and insects.  Insect control for many crawling insects can be done with granules and baits, as well as with micro-encapsulated insecticides.  Rodent control can be done with both baits and traps.  Finally, mechanical exclusion can eliminate entry points for pests.
