Boys: Huron at Skyline (0-1) *
We haven’t seen Huron yet, and Skyline had a rough go in its opener. Huron, 65-63.
Boys: Gabriel Richard (0-1) at Pioneer (0-1), 7 p.m. Saturday *
This game was a barnburner last year that Pioneer closed out with some senior leadership. This year, they have almost none of that. Gabriel Richard, 80-75.
Boys: Ypsilanti Community (1-0) vs. Detroit Southeastern (0-1), 8 p.m., Saturday *
The Jungaleers can match Ypsilanti for size as well as anyone. Should be a showcase game for Grizzlies big man Jaylen Johnson. Ypsilanti, 75-73.
Boys: Bloomfield Hills at Milan, 6 p.m., Saturday *
A tough test for the Big Reds to start the season, but Milan should be able to fill in nicely for the departed C.J. Turnage. Milan, 66-58.
Girls: Skyline (3-0) at Pioneer (0-3) *
These two teams were fairly evenly matched last year, but have gone in totally different directions so far this year. Skyline, 55-45.
Girls: Saline (3-0) at Temperance Bedford (1-1) *
Saline’s 3-0 start will be put to the test. Bedford’s been tough for the Hornets to beat across the board this fall. Bedford, 52-46.
Girls: Lincoln (1-1) at Dexter (1-1) *
A couple of inexperienced teams go at it. Dexter is more inexperienced. Lincoln, 48-42.
