Analytical Research on the Second Global Peace Summit's Key Aspects

The first Global Peace Summit, initiated by Ukraine with the support of Switzerland, aimed to discuss ways to achieve peace in Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. During it, the points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula were presented, which formed the basis of further diplomatic negotiations. 93 representatives of different countries and 8 international organizations took part in the summit. Russia was not among them, which was the reason for the refusal of a number of countries to participate.

According to some experts, in order to achieve sustainable peace, a direct dialogue is needed not only between Ukraine and its partners, but also between the parties to the conflict. That is, with the involvement of Russia in the next Summit. This idea is already being actively discussed, because the potential participation of Russia in the Summit can contribute to the creation of conditions for solving key problems that remain a stumbling block between states, as well as allow the international community to call on the aggressor to end hostilities and comply with international norms At the same time, there is a certain risk of increasing international pressure on Ukraine regarding certain concessions and conditions of Russia regarding the end of the war.

Therefore, before the second Global Peace Summit, our UCIPR and War:Observe team aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the opinions of international experts on several key aspects of the event. This includes the general structure of the second Peace Summit, the potential participation of Russia, the strengths and weaknesses of the initiative, the expected results and the global approach to achieving a "just peace" for Ukraine. We are particularly interested in understanding the possible manipulation strategies that Russia can use during the negotiations, as well as the dynamics of relations between Ukraine and other Summit participants.

The collected information will help us identify key issues, develop effective recommendations aimed at increasing the success of the Summit and strengthening relations between its participants. We plan to present these results to both the Ukrainian and the international community.
