The International Work Camp organised by Montis in 2018 is taking place from 16 to 22 July in Carvalhais, São Pedro do Sul, Portugal.
The Work Camp aims to recover natural systems by improving present and future conditions on one of the properties Montis is managing for nature conservation purposes.
The program for the Work Camp includes actions to support natural regeneration, including natural engeneering techniques, supporting and leading the growing of natural regeneration, maintenance of access paths, observation and registering of fauna and much more!
The week will also include recreational activities to allow volunteers to rest, know each other better and engage with local culture.
Registration is € 50 for members of Montis and € 75 for non-members. It is possible for non-members to become members (€ 20) at the time of registration and benefit from the discount.
The registration includes food during the seven days, accommodation in individual tents (accommodation alternatives available, on which we will give information if you want to send an email, but not assured by Montis), insurance, protective material and tools for working.
