NPARC Coalition Builder Application
The Non-Profit Anti-Racism Coalition (NPARC) is an alliance of organizations and individuals committed to ending institutional racism. Coalition Builders realize this mission as a collaborative who organize membership, logistics, community education, communications, general administration, and sustainability. Ideally, Builders commit to a two year term and contribute 6-10 hours a month to NPARC.

Please submit your application by March 13, 2019. Interviews will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 10AM-1PM and Wednesday, March 27 from 5:30PM to 8:00PM. Term will begin in April.

NPARC strives to model racial equity in all aspects and processes; this application is no exception. People of Color will serve as a majority of Coalition Builders, with the supportive allyship of a White minority. To that end, we'd love to know how you identify at the intersections of race, gender and sexuality. In the spirit of self-determination and affirmative consent, responses to the following three questions are respectively open-ended and not required.

Coalition Builder Functions
As a collective, we serve the following functions and individually commit 6-10 hours a month to NPARC.

Membership: Steward relationships with current and prospective members and build community within the coalition; update & track membership records.

Logistics: Coordinate locations for coalition meetings; send invitations & track attendance of coalition meetings.

Community Education: Develop and deliver coalition meeting content; recruit facilitators/hosts for coalition meetings; facilitate meetings and race-based caucusing

Administration & Sustainability: Reads and responds to email correspondence; coordinates Coalition Builder meetings; coordinates Coalition Builder recruitment process.

Communications: Sends out monthly newsletter; maintains NPARC website and social media accounts; coordinates fiscal sponsorship appreciation.
