) to the authors' presubmission inquiry: a- acceptance of the recommended preprint with no further peer review but potential corrections, b- article sent to further peer review or c- not interested
If the recommended article falls in the scope, the journal might use the PCI reviews and recommendation to strengthen or speed up the usual peer-review process
