I’m super excited to take you on your burlesque journey. I have 2 class options to choose from. Burlesque 101 and Burlesque Performance class.

Beginner 101 - In this class you will learn all the burlesque basics. From Glove peels to robe reveals, and even get to do some tassel twirling too. Come along and learn how to bump and grind in a supportive and fun environment. No previous experience necessary! (18+)

Class details: Tuesday nights @ 6:30pm, Dance Express Napier (1 hour run time)

Performance Class - For this performance based class you will be able to put all the basics to the test and combine dance moves to learn choreographies. Which will be broken down to practise stage presence and taking the choreography further than just the movements. Previous dance and/or burlesque experience is need to participate in this class. (18+)

Class details: Thursday nights @ 6:30pm, Dance Express Napier (1 hour run time)

Each class is $25 per class. This first block will be 6 weeks. The 6 weeks must be paid in full to secure your spot. (Total for this block will be $150). Invoice will be sent out upon completion of this form. (Weekly payments are available).

Burlesque Classes with Cherry Boomb Term 1, 2025

Welcome to Burlesque Classes with Cherry Boomb! I’m super excited to be teaching you some burlesque. Please acknowledge you have read the below by writing and signing your name, along with the date. Classes will run for 6 weeks during the school term.

Classes commencing the week of (Monday) March 3rd. So our first class will either be Tuesday the 4th or Thursday the 6th of March.

Pre class agreement

The attendee understands that the Teacher and Venue assume no responsibility if injury occurs during practise/lesson and use of any equipment. The attendee accepts all risks when practising. The attendee will disclose any injuries that happen outside of class so that the teacher can accomodate and modify any moves where possible. The attendee must initial below before the class commence. (You must sign at the start of your first class).

Just acknowledge below that you’ve read the above waiver. (I will get you to sign a copy of this at our first class together). *
