How can community pharmacists/pharmacies be supported to carry out research?
This is a brief survey carried out in collaboration with the North West Primary Care Pharmacy Research Group, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Research Ready pharmacy programme and the Community Pharmacy Research Champions of the National Institute of Health Research Clinical Research Network.

We are actively engaging with community pharmacy in order to build capacity for our up and coming research projects and to tap into the rich and varied scientific and clinical expertise offered by community pharmacists.

The Clinical Research Network has now appointed a network of community pharmacy research champions based in the Local Clinical Research Networks, drawn from across the pharmacy profession to promote, encourage and develop research carried out within and by community pharmacies.  In order to support you more effectively, we need to build a better understanding of your research aspirations and the barriers you may be encountering.

We thank you for your participation and value your feedback most highly.

For further information, please contact Dr Rachel Airley, Community Pharmacy Research Champion, CRN-Greater Manchester  at rachel.airley@nihr.ac.uk.
