September 26th, 2026-Nature Walk and Wildlife Monitoring 

The Eastern Queens Alliance is a community-based organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents in Eastern Queens with their environmental initiative called the Idlewild Environmental Learning Center. At the center, we focus on environmental education and sustainability.

Join us for a Nature Walk at Idlewild Environmental Center! 

Come explore one of NYC's hidden natural parks as we take a tour of Idlewild Park Preserve, an over 300 acre wetland forever wild site! We will also be monitoring different wildlife during the migration season using iNaturalist.

Event Address: Idlewild Environmental Center-- 222-02 149th Avenue, Springfield Gardens, NY 11413 (At the intersection of 149th Ave and Springfield Lane). Meeting in side the center at front desk.. 

Binoculars and Phones with iNaturalist available. Supplies while last.
