LAUP: Child Development Workforce Initiative (CDWFI)
Child Development - Workforce Initiative CD-WFI goal is to promote success for Early Childhood Education majors by providing centralized student supports while, at the same time, removing barriers to student success. This project works with high schools, community colleges and four year institutions to develop a career pipeline in early care and education that meets the current and future ECE workforce needs
                                                In order to qualify as a  (CDWFI) member, one must fulfill specific criteria.
a) Have completed 3 of the 4 Early Childhood Education cores classes  with a "C" or better
                   1) ECE 2
                   2) ECE 11
                   3) ECE 4 or 5,or 8 or 17
                   4)  Psych 11
                          AND
b) Plan on attending Santa Monica College during the 2015-2016 school year
