Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for applying to adopt a dog or cat from Amigos! These precious animals are tremendously important to us and we want to do the best we can to find them great homes!

Please don’t be offended by all our questions and please understand that there are no right or wrong answers. We simply want to get to know all potential adopters, and also ensure that they have considered all the different aspects of pet ownership, before they get home with their new pet. We will be in touch as soon as possible to talk further with you!

I understand that a home visit might be required prior to final placement.

I agree that if I adopt an unneutered or unspayed animal from Amigos, that I will spay or neuter it within 3 months, and provide documentation to Amigos to verify surgery.

I can contribute towards transport, veterinary expenses, and food etc, to help offset the costs incurred to prepare this dog for adoption.

I understand that any donation or contribution is a gift freely given, not a purchase price for a dog. We reserve the right to refuse adoption to any applicant for any reason.

If approved for adoption, I agree to make a donation of $550 CAD ($500 USD) with a final donation of $550 (CAD) $500 (US).

If transport cannot take place within 45 days of adoption approval, I agree to pay $50 (CAD) $40 (US) per month to cover shelter expenses for my pet until transport can be arranged.

If you would like to keep the transport crate that will be an additional $100 CAD or $75 USD
