American History
This coming year, we'll be studying early American history, focusing on our country's early start, before we even became the United States of America.

This includes people like Columbus, Leif Erikson, Balboa, Magellan, Ponce de Leon, etc.

We are planning an overnight field trip to Plimoth Plantation in October. Have you been before? *
The overnight will not be required, but we encourage all students to attend. Have you been on an overnight before? *
If not, don't worry. This is a new experience for many of our incoming 5th graders!
World Geography and Culture
During the second half of the year, we'll be studying other countries of the world, both in the past and today. We learn about maps, culture, religion, and more.

It could be anywhere on any of the 7 continents: Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Antarctica, North America, or South America.
