This is a mostly fictional currency paid position with real paid opportunities! Applicants will be rewarded in
WaterdogWorld's currency for their work with staff benefits included such as discounted shop items, and possible ability to participate in future adopt batches! Terms and conditions will be discussed further once onboard.
**Please be aware that we are serious about our species! We do have a conflict of interest policy and may not consider applicants if they are also active workers of other closed species. General participation and owning/enjoying characters of other closed species will not affect your application however!**
The expectations of this role are;
-That you are kind and respectful to all of those around you, this includes staff and community members no matter the circumstance! disrespecting others will not be tolerated!
-you and your teammates will be expected to actively log into the waterdoge account throughout the week to check and respond to all private dm's through there and inform us of anything serious that may come up.
-You will be expected to moderate all channels with your teammates to ensure the security and quality of our server, allowing users in by assigning the server role checking profiles to ensure they're not troll accounts, moderate the energy of the server, meaning moderating negative discussion/comments/tense situations gingerly and not aggressively to diffuse those situations.
-you will be expected to help answer questions in help board to the best of your knowledge, if you're unsure about something please ask a senior admin for clarification! we would rather something be clarified than misinformation be presented to the community! We will get repetitive questions and you are expected to have patience and continued respect when answering them.
-you will not be required to mingle with our community members however it is highly encouraged to make a name and face for yourself in our community! Don't be too shy!
-Have open communication, if there are issues or concerns with a situation, you are expected to contact a senior admin for assistance! No question will ever be considered stupid or repetitive, we highly encourage asking the questions over taking initiative action if unsure about something!
-You will be expected to have the availability to be able to help moderate the server!
