Town of Matthews -Vision Zero Pledge 
Vision Zero is an international initiative to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries while
increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility.  On August 26, 2024, the Town of Matthews adopted a Vision Zero resolution to develop a Vision Zero Action Plan to reach the goal of zero deaths or serious injuries by 2034. The Town hopes to adopt the plan in 2025.
