As the sophomore representative for RU NAfME, you will be responsible for promoting NAfME events and happenings to your sophomore class! You will attend weekly meetings with the other members of the NAfME E-Board to discuss and plan upcoming events. As a Sophomore Rep, you will also assist other class reps in planning and executing Vibe Time, Professional Development, and fundraising events. Our previous PD events have included topics on interview tips, budgeting as a musician, Alexander Technique, and jazz big band collab event. Check out our social media for more info on past events!
Vibe time events are opportunities for all music majors to come together and take a break from stressful classes and rehearsals. PD Events happen twice a month, vibe time once a month. Applications are due Monday, September 5th at 11:59pm. The selected representative will be notified via email and announcement. Please contact rutgers.nafme@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
*Please note*: All NAfME E-Board members must be available to meet weekly via Zoom and must remain in good academic and artistic standing throughout the time they are on the E-Board.
