PGI Meeting with Alexander Vinnikov, Head of NATO Representation to Ukraine on Sep 20
We are happy to announce our September guest speaker, namely Alexander Vinnikov, Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine. The topic of his speech is “NATO’s support for Ukraine. From Wales to Warsaw”, which will be followed by the Q & A session.  The meeting will take place at Ukraine Crisis Media Center (2 Khreshchatyk Street, Ukrainian House) at 19.00 on Tuesday, September 20th. The meeting will be in held in English.

Alexander Vinnikov is Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine since its creation in March 2016, and Director of the NATO Liaison Office (since September 2015).
Prior to this Alexander was the NATO Liaison Officer/Head of Office in Central Asia, resident in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) with a mandate covering the five countries of the region. He has previously worked at NATO Headquarters in both the Political Affairs and Security Policy Division and the Defence Policy and Planning Division.
Alexander has also served with the OSCE in a variety of positions and duty stations, most recently as Senior Political Adviser to the High Commissioner on National Minorities in The Hague. He started his career as a researcher in international relations at Oxford University, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
A Dutch national, Alexander holds degrees from Oxford University, Sciences-Po Paris and the London School of Economics, and speaks six languages.
