Application for the 2013 Participatory Action Research Institute at UMass Boston

With support from The Mauricio Gastón Institute for Community Development and Public Policy and the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, we are excited to announce the First Annual Participatory Action Research (PAR) Institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston!

At the PAR Institute (November 8-10, 2013), students, faculty, K-12 educators, educational leaders, researchers and members of community based organizations will be introduced to the theory, methods, ethics and praxis of PAR. With this in mind, we are interested in getting to know more about your interests in PAR and what you hope to learn from and bring to the Institute. Applications are due October 31, 2013. Notification of application decisions will be emailed starting at the end of October 2013.
