Hoʻolohe Pono 2024 General Registration
Ka ʻOhana o ke Aloha and InterVarsity Hawaiʻi invite you to participate in our 20th annual Hoʻolohe Pono!

WHEN: Sunday, July 21st to Friday, July 26th 2024

Space is limited! Participants are asked to prepare themselves to enter humbly, listen well as life long learners & serve with willingness & aloha as our time in the community is a privilege & gift from ke Akua. You will be sent a separate email with more information on how to prepare well for our time together. Please be mindful of your conduct and behavior as Hoʻolohe Pono is a unique gathering of people with diverse backgrounds from keiki (children) to kūpuna (elders). More details will also be sent regarding schedule, code of conduct, cultural sensitivity, and protocols. 

COST:
  • For Part-time participation, suggested donation is $10-25 per session as you are able (incl. meal + makana (gift) for speakers)                 
  • $220 Full-time participation for Hawaiʻi residents 
  • $175 Full-time participation for Hawai'i college students 
  • Keiki under 12 are free (except for `Iolani Palace)
  • Kūpuna of Ka ‘Ohana o ke Aloha are free (except for 'Iolani Palace admission)
  • Scholarships available upon request

COVID PROTOCOLS: For the safety of our ʻohana, communities, and elders we are asking that you please comply with our COVID Safety procedures:

 - If you are sick, or have a positive COVID test please notify Aunty Brenda ASAP, and stay home.  
- We do not require the use of a mask during Hoʻolohe Pono, but we are asking our ‘ohana to be mindful when you are around kūpuna or to wear a mask and notify staff if you are feeling sick.  
-Culturally it is respectful to greet and show aloha to those you meet with a hug, kiss on the cheek, or exchange of breath. Please use discernment when greeting others, as we want to care well for our kūpuna and those who may be high risk.
