A goal at CBA is to be a blessing to others. In that vein, PTF recently created an Educator/Employee of the Month Award for each campus. Those receiving awards are nominated by peers and parents for exemplifying the character of Christ, leading through love, and demonstrating innovation in instruction. Each month, CBA parents and peers may nominate an educator/employee at their campus by writing a brief description as to why they have been nominated. Administrators, teachers, or staff members may be nominated based on the following criteria:
Exemplifying the character of Christ – Educator/Employee demonstrates the Fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control) in a manner that challenges and motivates students and/or peers to advance beyond their expectations. They show respect and grace to all and interact in a positive manner.
Leadership through Love – Educator/Employee serves as a leader not only in the classroom/office, but also throughout the school. They excel as a team player and encourage others in their gifts.
Innovation in Instruction – Educator/Employee inspires students to learn.They consistently advance students to higher levels of thinking and academic achievement. For staff, they demonstrate creativity and imagination in carrying out their job duties in such a way that they motivate and inspire others in the school community to grow.
Un objetivo en CBA es ser una bendición para los demás. Con ese propósito, el PTF (Asociación de Padres) creó recientemente un premio para el Educador/Empleado del Mes para cada campus. Serán nominados por sus colegas por ejemplificar el carácter de Cristo, liderar a través del amor y demostrar innovación en la instrucción. Cada mes, los padres y compañeros de CBA nominarán escribiendo una breve descripción de por qué han nominado a la persona. Se pueden nominar administradores, maestros o miembros del personal usando los siguientes criterios:
Ejemplificar el carácter de Cristo: el educador/empleado demuestra los frutos del Espíritu (amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, bondad, fidelidad y autocontrol) de una manera que desafía y motiva a los estudiantes y/o compañeros a avanzar más allá de lo esperado. Muestran respeto y gracia a todos e interactúan de manera positiva.
Liderazgo a través del amor: el educador/empleado sirve como líder no sólo en el aula u oficina, sino también en toda la escuela. Se destacan como trabajadores en equipo y alientan a los demás con sus dones.
Innovación en la instrucción: el educador/empleado inspira a los estudiantes a aprender. Constantemente hacen avanzar a los estudiantes a niveles más altos de pensamiento y rendimiento académico. Para el personal, demuestran creatividad e imaginación al llevar a cabo sus tareas laborales de tal manera que motivan e inspiran a otros en la comunidad escolar a crecer.
