Camp Healthy Love is a FREE interactive, activity based camp that helps young people learn about healthy relationships, warning signs and unhealthy behaviors, and power and control vs. equality in relationships.Youth ages 14-18 are invited to join us for a week of learning and fun!
Where: Salishan Family Investment Center (FIC ) 1724 E 44th StWhen: Monday August 12th - Friday August 16thTime: 10:30am-2:00pm with a 30 minute lunch break from 12:30pm-1:00pm.
The Camp Includes:• 5 days of engaging activities centered around Gender & Stereotypes, Privilege & Oppression, Media Literacy, Teen Dating Violence, Healthy Relationships, Digital Dating Abuse, Sex & Consent and Safety & Resources• Lunch and snacks• Healthy Love T-shirts, backpacks and raffle prizes!

PHOTO PERMISSION The sponsors of this event (YWCA, the Salishan Association, Tacoma Housing Authority) and anyone they partner with for camp activities has my permission to use my or my youth's photograph publicly to promote their agencies. I understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media. I also understand that no royalty, fee, or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use. I have the option to request in writing not to be included in photography.
TRANSPORTATION PERMISSIONThe sponsors of this event (YWCA, the Salishan Association, Tacoma Housing Authority) and anyone they partner with for camp activities has my permission to transport me or my youth for camp activities by foot with one or more approved camp volunteers.
BEHAVIOR CONTRACTI understand that I agree/my youth agrees to abide by all camp rules and behavioral standards regarding safety, participation in activities and respect of instructors, volunteers, property and other participants. If I am/my youth is unable to follow these standards, I understand that the emergency contact will be contacted by phone and I/my youth may be asked to return home for the day. Depending on the severity of the situation, I/my youth may be allowed to return to camp the next day. If I/my youth is sent home twice, I will not be able to return to the camp, but am welcome to reapply next year.
