Clerical Assistant to the Editor, The St. John's Review
GENERAL INFORMATION The St. John's Review employs one student aide to assist the Editor with office support. The starting salary is $8.50 per hour, for approximately five hours of work per week.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Update and keep records of mailing list.
Answer subscription claims and keep records of them.
Distribute copies of The Review on campus.
Occasionally type manuscripts and letters.
Enter editorial changes to manuscripts.
Proofread manuscripts.
Provide general help in The Review office.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent proofreading skills
Typing (30-40 wpm)
General office skills
Initiative in handling duties with close attention to detail
Able to work well independently
