This 3-day workshop will be offered by the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, a national, multiracial, anti-racist collective of veteran organizers and educators dedicated to building an effective movement for social change. Since its founding in 1980, The People’s Institute has led workshops for over 500,000 people in hundreds of communities throughout the United States (including Connecticut) and internationally. This intensive, interactive process challenges participants to analyze themselves first, then the structures of power and privilege that hinder social equity and prepares them to be effective organizers for justice.

Saturday and Sunday is when the bulk of the training happens. Friday is meant for introduction and ground setting.
