Chesapeake Fibershed Flax 
Welcome to our community of flax growers, makers and enthusiasts! 

Please complete this form to join us for a new year of growing, harvesting, and processing flax together.

Our goal is to sustain community efforts to explore the viability of flax production in the Chesapeake Fibershed. We invite you to join us for discussions and opportunities to share information about growing flax in your gardens, fields and community shared spaces. Together we hope to develop a picture of how flax grows in our region and to work towards helping to support and sustain the production of flax to linen.

New growers are welcome and as a community we will continue to share information and support each other in the journey from seed to spun fiber. The size of your experimental plot is entirely your choice, from a square yard to whatever you want to attempt as space allows. If you need flax seed, we recommend Landis Valley Farm Museum.
