What are World Economic Forum Global Growth Companies?
Global Growth Companies are the most dynamic, high-growth companies from around the world. Their revenues are at least US$ 50-100 million and growing above industry or regional growth rates. They are best described as the trailblazers, shapers and innovators that are committed to improving the state of the world. Currently, Global Growth Companies come from more than 65 countries and each one has the potential to become a leader in the global economy owing to their business models, growth records, leadership and the markets they serve. The Forum has selected over 370 members with these characteristics.
How are Global Growth Companies identified?
The World Economic Forum invites nominations from its network of existing Global Growth Companies, Forum Members, Partners, faculty members, media leaders and the general public. Individuals with a strong understanding of companies that might qualify as a Global Growth Company are encouraged to submit nominations or encourage companies to nominate themselves.
How are Global Growth Companies assessed?
Potential Global Growth Companies are evaluated on the following criteria:
1. Growth: Demonstrated track of above average, sustainable growth in the past three to five years
2. Impact: Major influence in their industry and national or regional competitive fields
3. Leadership: Impeccable track record and visionary leadership of top executive team
4. Global Corporate Citizenship: Proven commitment to positively influencing the societies and regions where they operate
