Dear Administrator McCarthy,
I am writing to express my strong support for the strong limits on carbon pollution from power plants expected to be proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency. Carbon pollution raises temperatures, worsens smog and harms public health. It also fuels climate change and drives extreme weather. There are currently no limits on the amount of carbon pollution that power plants dump into the air; this has to change. We must leave our children a legacy of health and opportunity, not lives devastated by climate change. I urge you and the EPA to set strong limits on carbon pollution from power plants and to stand firm against polluters who will try to block these standards.
