Hope Gardens Mission
Hope Gardens, a women and children's shelter, has invited us into their home. This ministry is an extension of Union Rescue Mission, a Christian Non-profit that helps the homeless in the Greater Los Angeles area. For three days we will live with the Hope Garden's residents to learn about their lives but also to serve them.

ANCC Missions Ministry believes this is a great opportunity to experience the heart of God through Hope Gardens. The Gospel tell us that God became man to dwell among us. Jesus, God's son, became a man, he was tempted and tried, he suffered pain, humiliation, betrayal and loneliness. He was unjustly tried, accused, and executed. God's justice was satisfied through the unjust death of Jesus. As Christians we are called to not only preach the Gospel but to reflect it, especially to those who suffer from injustice.

This is a step for our church to grow in missional living by building relationships with our neighbors. Let's go and listen, learn, and serve together!

Dates: July 24-26 (2 nights, 3 days)
Place: 12249 Lopez Canyon Rd, Sylmar, CA 91342
Purpose: To learn and serve

James 1:27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
