Join us Wednesday, May 11 at 6:00 PM  for a book launch at Americas Society celebrating the release of "This Must Be the Place: An Oral History of Latin American Artists in New York, 1965–1975", the first book of its kind to present the stories of Latin American artists who migrated to New York City in the mid-sixties and shaped the cultural production of that era.

This event features a conversation with artists featured in the publication, including Liliana Porter, Sylvia Palacios Whitman and Nitza Tufiño, moderated by Aimé Iglesias Lukin, Director and Chief Curator of Visual Arts at Americas Society, and remarks by Editor Karen Marta and Tie Jojima. The conversation will be followed by a reception.
