GothamJS 2011 Call for Presentations

Ever wanted to perform on Broadway? Your presentation proposal to GothamJS, New York City's JavaScript conference, can make that dream come true.

GothamJS will be held at the amazing NYIT Auditorium on Broadway, a fantastic venue, on Saturday, July 9th 2011. Like the name says, its right on Broadway.

We expect our presentations to be 40 minutes long, including time for questions and discussion. But if you think otherwise for your presentation (longer or shorter), let us know what you want and convince us. We're flexible.

Keep in mind that our audience will be fully-engaged members of the New York JavaScript developer's community. Your presentation should appeal to them. Presentations should be loaded with code and technical content. Proposals containing marketing-based content will be sniffed out and booted from the list. We are engineers. We want to be entertained and amazed, not sold to.

Submit as many proposals as you want. Panels or multi-presenter proposals are fine. All of the presenters will receive a free ticket.

We plan to videotape all the presentations, and making the videos available online for free.

Please submit your proposal by 11:59:59 PM ET on Weds May 11th, 2011. We reserve the right to accept and announce a few proposals before that time. We'll decide that later.

If you have any questions, please email proposals@gothamjs.com. Your presentation is important to us.
