NGLA Advanced Leadership Summit Application
Across countless conferences, programs and sessions, student leaders are being provided with the inspiration that they need to lead change within their community. Amongst this empowerment it is important to take a step back and ensure these tools are being used properly by students. The NGLA Advanced Leadership Summit is designed to provide students the framework they need right now to AUTHENTICALLY foster growth within their communities. This Summit provides an opportunity for student leaders who have taken part in NGLA, or other significant leadership educational programs, to drill deeper into meeting the challenges of leading.
So often, we focus on what “doing the right thing” is in our leadership programming that we overlook the most essential skill sets: After leaders figure out their personal direction, how do they inspire others to understand the need for change in their community or chapter? Can leaders learn skills to feel empowered to talk deliberately, honestly, and openly to members, and to put into practice a process of change based on the factors of relating, repeating, and reframing?
Join Kim Novak, Allison Foster, and Josh Welch of the Novak Talks Team as they facilitate the skill building to foster leadership success.
