2026 ASHEVILLE CITY MARKET REGULAR SEASON APPLICATION
Hello, thank you for your interest in the Asheville City Market. Asheville City Market is a producer-only market, which means that all farm vendors grow or raise the products they are selling themselves. For non-farm vendors (such as prepared food, seafood, coffee), preference is given to products and foods prepared or processed locally or made with locally sourced ingredients.

Dates: Saturdays 04/04/2026 - 12/19/2026
Time: 9am - 12pm

The first round of acceptance e-mails will go out the last week of February. After this date, applications will be considered as space is available.

The fee to vend at Asheville City Market is $35 and will be collected via a square invoice before market day. More detailed information will be provided once accepted to the market.

If you have any questions about the application process, please call the Market Manager, MaKenna Hill at (828) 348 - 0340 or send an email to mhill@asapconnections.org.  You will receive more information about the specifics of the market day upon acceptance.

Market Regulations
Please review the ASAP Market regulations:

FEES
✅ The vendor fee is $35 for each Saturday market and will be collected by the manager at the end of each market.
✅ Cancellations must be made no later than 8 pm on Wednesday night for next Saturday. This is done by filling out the cancellation form (included in each week's vendor email).
✅ No shows or repeat late cancellations of approved dates will result in potential loss of position with the market.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
✅ The street will close to the general public at 7:30 AM.
✅ Arrive to the market at least 30 minutes prior to opening. Your booth must be completely set-up by the time the market opens at 9 am.
✅ Vendors may not break down tents, tables or displays before 12pm, even if there is not product left to sell. This is so that customers are encouraged to come to the market, even if it is close to closing time. We want the market still feels inviting to encourage customers to return.
✅ Vendors are not permitted to drive away until 12:10pm for customer safety.
✅ Food scraps and waste must be picked up off the ground before leaving.
✅ Vendor parking is available in various parking lots. Should you need a vehicle space please indicate so in the appropriate section below

GENERAL
✅ Vendors who offer a ready-to-eat product with packaging MUST provide a trash dispenser and pack it out.
✅ All vendors accepting SNAP tokens are required to display prices of their products.
✅ Initial participation in the market does not guarantee continued vending and the vendor pool will be re-evaluated weekly.
✅ The ASAP Market is a 'producer only' market.  That means all items being sold must be produced by the seller or their listed representative (e.g. family member, employee, partner, or intern involved in production). Basically, you can not resell an item you bought or received from another business or person without approval from the manager.
✅ Vendors may only sell products listed on this application. Requests to list a new product must be submitted in writing or by email prior to sale and are approved at the discretion of the market manager
✅ All market vendors are required to participate in the market’s token program
  • ACM $5 token: may be accepted by any vendor
  • SNAP (EBT): may only be accepted for SNAP approved foods (e.g. fruits and vegetables, honey, cheese, meat, eggs, bread and baked goods)
  • Fresh Farm Bucks: Fruits and vegetables
✅ Products must have clearly displayed prices
✅ Vendors may set up a canopy tent to protect from weather.  All tents must have weights heavy enough to hold it down in high winds. We recommend 20 lbs on each tent leg for the winter season as the street gets very windy.
✅ Vendors are required to comply with all Federal, state, and local regulations and laws governing food safety and labeling.  Documentation of required licenses, permits, certifications, etc. should be retained by the vendor. Vendors may be audited by the manager at any time.
