Nordic Travel Grants
The Torgerson Center for Nordic Studies is pleased to cover travel expenses for Luther College faculty or staff interested in developing courses or other academic opportunities (e.g., internships) focused on Nordic-related topics. Travel grants can also be used for individual faculty research projects.

Grants are administered through the Office of the Provost.  Applications are due annually on October 20 and awardees will be notified by November 15.  

Approved project and travel expenses will be reimbursed up to $5,000.  Travel must be completed and expenses submitted within the subsequent budget year (June 1- May 31).  

Following their travel experience, awardees will be expected to provide a recap at a public event (brown bag forum, Vesterheim event, etc.) and/or a class visit under the auspices of the Torgerson Center for Nordic Studies.
