Thank you for your interest in volunteering with A+ Rising. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are passionate about making a positive impact. Are there additional ways you would like to contribute or programs you hope to see in the future?

We are currently seeking volunteers to support our programs at A+ Rising. One of the key ways to contribute is by writing a blog at least once a month, which we will publish on our blog site. Each program focuses on building equity, justice, and healing in unique ways.

Rising Watchdog: Volunteers under Rising Watchdog will research and expose harmful decisions that affect immigrants, BIPOC, queer/trans folks, education, or public health. Blog topics might include policy analysis, local and national legislation, case studies of harm, interviews with affected individuals, or calls for action.

Healing Forward: This program focuses on community wellness grounded in cultural care and intergenerational healing. Volunteer posts may explore traditional healing practices; mental health in marginalized communities; stories of resilience; and how culture, family, and history contribute to well‐being.

EduUnbound: EduUnbound emphasizes educational justice, curriculum change, and empowering youth with knowledge. Possible blog topics include inequities in schooling; curriculum development; youth voices on education reform; tools and resources to support educators and students; and case studies of successful interventions.

Culture Shift Studio: This is for those who want to share their stories. Volunteers here help reframe dominant narratives through art, storytelling, and digital content. Topics could include personal narratives; visual or multimedia storytelling; critiques of cultural representation; creative essays; or explorations of identity, culture, and power through artistic expression.
