Sept 6 Family STEAM Extravaganza - Volunteer Sign-Up

Thank you for your interest in being a part of Scientific Adventures for Girls Sept 6 Family STEAM Extravaganza! Families of the girls who participate in our after school STEM program from the 25 elementary schools we serve in Oakland, Richmond, Berkeley and Emeryville will be in attendance in addition to students from elementary schools in Richmond (hosted by WCCUSD).

We invite individuals from our communities to help make the day a fun, memorable experience for students and their families.

Location: DeJean Middle School (3400 Macdonald Ave, Richmond)

Agenda (subject to change):

Shift 1: 9:30am-1:30pm

9:30 am-10am: Welcome and set up assistance

10am-1pm: Assist with activities or tasks as assigned.

12:30-1:30pm: Finish with tasks, lunch, hand off to shift 2

1:30pm: Finish for the day

Shift 2: 12:30pm-4:30pm

12:30-1:30pm: lunch, orientation, hand off from shift 1

1pm-4pm: Assist with activities or tasks as assigned, including 3:30 raffle

4pm to 4:30pm: clean up assistance

4:30pm: Finish for the day
