NLSEC will host a back to school para training for new paraprofessionals that will include the following content:  roles & responsibilities, confidentiality, vulnerability & mandated reporting, introduction to disability categories, introductory de-escalation techniques, and fostering independence.  Training will be held on Tuesday, August 18 from 8:30 - 2:30 at the Carlton County Transportation Building in Carlton. Participants will need to make arrangements for their own lunch: you may bring a lunch or you will have time to get lunch from a fast food establishment in Cloquet. There is no cost to this training.

Training may be cancelled if there is low interest. If this is the case, participants will be notified by August 14.
