We acknowledge that mass incarceration is one of many systems of oppression that disproportionately affects people of color. NOLA to Angola offers priority registration to people of color, in hopes of building a space that chips away at these barriers. Please indicate your race below. (Leave blank if you prefer not to say.)

We understand that mass incarceration affects many of us, and in a variety of ways. Nola to Angola will continue to provide priority registration to people directly impacted by incarceration. We define “directly impacted" as: you, or a family member/loved one, have been incarcerated for months or years. Please indicate the statement below that best describes you. *
While a long-distance bike ride will never be accessible to all people of all abilities, we would like to make Nola to Angola more accessible. If you would like to request accommodations to participate in the ride, please indicate your request and an organizer will follow up with you. We will make every effort to provide accommodations within the limits of our resources. (For example, accommodations might include: using a modified bike, interpreting services, planned check-ins with medic, etc. )

We offer scholarships for people who are unable to cover the registration fee (sliding scale $60 - $120) and/or the fundraising requirement ($300). We can also offer a small stipend to make up for lost wages. Please indicate if you are interested in learning more about any of the scholarship options below and an organizer will follow up with you.
