Summer Session 2026 - Scholars in STEM Mentee Application 
Thank you so much for your interest in Scholars in STEM!

Our organization works to provide students from underrepresented communities a gateway to STEM by connecting high school students to young aspiring scientists and mathematicians just like you. Our mentors consist of high school students ranging from grades 9 - 12 that want to share their passion for STEM with you through weekly Google Meetings (approx. 45-60 minutes) that match your interests and schedule.

The Summer Session will be held from the week of July 12th to August 15th (5 weeks). Applications will be due on July 3st, 2026, 11:59 pm EST.  Applicants can apply for up to 3 weekly sessions. Applicants who apply after that deadline may or may not be matched, depending on mentor availability. We offer up to 3 sessions per week. Each session will be about a different subject. This means that you will probably have different mentors for each of the different subjects. The amount of sessions you pick must also be reflected in your time availability selections. (Example: If you picked 3 sessions you must list at least 3 possible times you are available) *
