2025-2026 Volunteer Interest Form
Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey!

Our PTO events rely entirely on volunteer support, for both planning and event-day help. Each event needs a dedicated team to plan and coordinate the details, as well as event volunteers to ensure everything runs smoothly. Planning guides are available to support committees, but without enough volunteer involvement, events simply cannot take place.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

The Fundraising Committee is a team of parent volunteers who plan and coordinate fundraising activities to support our PTO. Responsibilities include reaching out to local businesses for sponsorships and donations, as well as organizing restaurant community nights. Volunteers will contact local businesses via email, mail, and in-person visits. The PTO provides a general letter that can be customized to suit each outreach opportunity.

Time Commitment: One zoom meeting a month, with additional meetings as needed in August and September to help coordinate Hornet Hustle Fundraiser. Business outreach can be done on your own schedule.

EVENT PLANNING COMMITTEES

Our Event Planning Committees play a vital role in bringing successful events to life. They’re a great way to get involved, especially for those with limited time as most planning happens outside of school hours.

We’re currently forming committees for the following events:

BINGO Night – Friday, October 17
2–3 meetings per month in September and October

Spring Dance – Friday, March 13
2–3 meetings per month in February and March

Spring Carnival – Friday, May 15
2–3 meetings per month in March, April, and May

If you’re interested in joining a committee or would like more information, please let us know. Checking a box or expressing interest does not commit you. It just lets us know you'd like to learn more!

EVENT VOLUNTEERS

Event volunteers are essential to making our events run smoothly, whether they’re organized by the PTO or the school. We rely on community support to bring these fun and memorable experiences to life!

Some of the events that need the most volunteer help include:
       ·  Hornet Hustle/Fun Run (school-run, during the school day)
       ·  BINGO Night
       ·  Family Dance
       ·  Spring Carnival
       ·  Field Day (school-run, during the school day)

If you're interested in learning more about helping with any of these events, let us know! There's no commitment...just a chance to get more information.

ART LITERACY

Art Literacy is a Beaverton School District–funded program that brings engaging, high-quality art lessons into the classroom and it's led entirely by volunteers! This is a wonderful way to be involved in your student’s education while supporting creativity in the classroom.

Here’s what to expect as an Art Lit volunteer:

       · Volunteers attend a monthly training session on the first Tuesday of each month, lasting about 1 hour in the morning.
       · Each lesson involves a 2-hour block for prep and lesson time, pre-scheduled on a day coordinated by the Art Lit Director and teachers.
       · You don’t need to present the lesson to participate. Each lesson needs multiple volunteers to assist the students with their art pieces.

If you're interested in helping bring art to life in the classroom, we’d love to have you join us!

* Each class must have at least 2 dedicated volunteers to participate in Art Lit.
** No trainings/class lessons in August, December, March, and June.
