In consideration of being allowed to participate in any and all events, training sessions, practices, games, tournaments, travel, or related activities (“Activities”) organized, operated, or sponsored by RBT Cali Gold, I, the undersigned, on behalf of myself and/or my minor child or legal ward, acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that participation in basketball and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical exertion, contact with other players, falls, collisions, concussions, sprains, broken bones, equipment failure, facility hazards, transportation risks, and exposure to environmental conditions. These risks can result in serious injury or death, and I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, even if caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Released Parties identified below.

2. Medical Authorization

In the event of injury or illness, I authorize the staff, coaches, volunteers, or representatives of RBT Cali Gold to obtain medical treatment for my child or me as they deem necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for all medical expenses incurred as a result of any injury or illness during participation.

3. Waiver and Release of Liability

I, for myself and/or my minor child or legal ward, hereby fully waive, release, and forever discharge RBT Cali Gold, its directors, officers, coaches, staff, volunteers, agents, sponsors, partnering organizations, affiliated facilities, and any owners or operators of venues used for team activities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, causes of action, or damages arising out of or related to participation in RBT Cali Gold Activities, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with my or my child’s participation in RBT Cali Gold Activities.

5. Third-Party Venue Liability Waiver

I acknowledge that some activities may occur at venues or facilities not owned or operated by RBT Cali Gold. I expressly release those facility owners, operators, and their staff from any liability for injuries or damages that may occur during the use of their facilities for any RBT Cali Gold activities.

6. Media Release

I grant permission to RBT Cali Gold to take and use photographs, video recordings, and/or digital images of my child or myself for promotional or educational purposes in print, online, or social media, without compensation.

7. Severability and Governing Law

This agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under applicable law. If any portion of this document is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full legal force and effect. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which RBT Cali Gold operates.
