TEMA Application
Are you 16-19 years old and want to learn how to paint a mural and use art for social justice?

Groundswell's TEMA (Teen Empowerment Mural Apprenticeship) program is an opportunity for students to create a large-scale mural collaboratively with Groundswell artists and community partners. They will together research, design and paint a work of public art! You don't have to be experienced to join the program, you just have to be interested in art, community and social justice! Participants receive all art materials, field trips opportunities and snacks!

The program meets every Tuesday from 4-7pm, November 13th-April 9th. Attendance and full participation is required.

We meet at Groundswell's studio: 540 President Street #1A Brooklyn, NY 11215. Take the R train to Union Street.
