Women In STEM, Nepal - Database
There is no available scientific database of female researchers working in the STEM (Science and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field in Nepal. Therefore, the Center for Natural and Applied Sciences is developing a database of female researchers working in STEM fields in Nepal and plans to publish it on website for accessibility.
This project is supported by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany.

The main purposes of  the construction of the database are    

    -  To establish networking of female researchers working in various universities and research institutions all
       over Nepal.

    -   To carry out the capacity-building activities of female researchers.

    -   The ultimate goal is  to minimize gender disparity in the fields of STEM-based research and academic
        career positions
